As a said in my first entry these kids are extremely impoverished. There are over 8 million impoverished migrant worker kids. These kids move to the outskirts of industrialized cities in order for their parents to find jobs in the city. Since these families are not actually residents of the city, they can't attend the cities' public schools because the cities only enroll children who can afford urban residential permits. Poor kids like these are caught in a cycle of poverty in which they have no choice because they need their parents' income in order to survive.
Our goal is to provide these kids with a new light in their lives. Most of us take our education for granted, but to these kids even an elementary school education is seen as a luxury. We do not want these kids to end up like their struggling parents. These kids are extremely drive and we want to give them hope to achieve their dreams.
